9. New Customer Notification Template

  • This feature allows you to control whether a New Customer Notification email is sent to users. When the option is enabled, the system automatically sends an email to new customers containing their login credentials, allowing them to access their account. When the option is Disabled, this email is not sent, and new customers will not receive their login details via email.

Back-End Settings

  • Go to the Admin Dashboard > Gravity Booking > Email Notifications.
  • Navigate to the New Customer Notification template.
  • Enable this feature to send an email notification with login credentials to new customers. Disable it to stop sending this email.
  • Once done, click the Save Notifications button to update the settings.

Location Name, Address & Description Tags

  • In the Email Notification settings, three new location-related tags have been added.
    These tags are:
    • {location_name}
    • {location_address}
    • {location_description}

Back-End Settings

  • Go to the Admin Dashboard > Gravity Booking > Email Notifications.
  • The tags are available for use in the email templates.
  • The admin can use these tags in any email notification template. In this case, we are using the Email to Customer About Appointment Confirmation template.
  • Once done, click the Save Notification button.

Front-End Impact

  • Book an appointment. Once completed, the customer will receive an email.
  • As shown, the location tag data is correctly displayed in the email sent to the customer.
