Lead Time

  • The Lead Time feature allows the admin to specify the lead time for appointments. This ensures accurate scheduling and preparation by displaying only the slots that are available after the specified lead time. For example, if a user wants to book a 4 PM appointment on Friday, and the admin has set a lead time of 60 minutes, but the current time is 3:55 PM on Friday, the user will not be able to book the 4 PM slot. Instead, the earliest available appointment will be from 5 PM onwards.

Back-End Settings

  • Go to Admin Dashboard > Gravity Booking > Staff.

  • Add or Edit a staff.

  • Navigate to the Timings tab.

  • Choose the custom slots from the Booking Type dropdown menu.

  • Once selected, the Lead Time option will appear.

  • Enter the lead time value in the Lead Time field.

  • Click the Save button.

Front-End Impact

  • Go to the website.
  • Navigate to the Booking Form page.
Bookings form option
  • Fill in the required fields and select the date for the appointment.
  • As you can see, the current time is 3:39 PM (12 hours clock) , and with the lead time set to 60 minutes, the next available slot is 17:00 PM (24 hour clock).
